I first came to Block Island in utero in 1969 and have been spending summers here ever since. Block Island has become my home and a place that provides balance from my winter months in NYC. Some of my first classes were with Jim Reale in the mid-1990s, and I have been a student to the incomparable Sue Littlefield since she began teaching on the Island. From 2007-2018, I taught at Elevation studio. In 2019, I took over Sue’s weekly classes at St. Andrew’s Parish. In my classes I offer a precise vinyasa that challenges both the mind and the body. I strive for intelligent sequencing, honesty of intention, a variety of poses, and graceful instruction and assistance. My teaching is playful and inquisitive and seeks to guide each student to learn more about their bodies and themselves.  Please contact me with any questions regarding my group classes, or private classes.
